Building on the success of the proven PFN, this improved model offers a 60 Hz refresh rate and a sensitivity of
With its powerful 12 µm VOx detector, the device delivers clear images, even in adverse weather conditions.
The PFN can be used handheld, as a side-mounted device, or on a helmet.
Note for our customers:
The PFN640+ is delivered without an integrated reticle. The reticle can be programmed upon request; exception: a permit for prohibited items is required. With a valid hunting license and without a programmed reticle, the Picatinny/weapon mount may be attached to the device, and the PFN640+ may be used as a side-mounted device on a weapon. These regulations may vary abroad and must be observed.
Technical specifications:

- In the near future, the Wilcox flip-to-side mount with adapter for the PFN640 will be available, allowing it to be mounted on Picatinny rails as an add-on device or as a standalone sight.
PFN 640 V2: Multifunctional Thermal Imaging Device
The PFN 640 V2 is the smallest thermal imaging multi-purpose monocular based on the new 12µm sensor. The combination of a 60 Hz refresh rate and the latest 12µm sensor with a resolution of 640×480 pixels ensures a razor-sharp image. Resistance to adverse weather conditions such as fog, rain, snowfall, or large temperature fluctuations from -45°C to +55°C does not affect the device's performance.
The PFN 640 V2 has two viewing modes: handheld or clip-on. Clip-on mode and helmet-mounted mode are identical. The image is zoomed out to show a 1x view. The screen also features an inclinometer and a digital compass.
The PFN 640 V2 has three simple buttons: Power, Menu, and Image. These buttons have different functions depending on how long they are pressed. Pressing the power button turns the device on. Holding the button down while the device is on opens a menu to turn it off. Briefly pressing the power button recalibrates the sensor. The middle menu button opens the options menu with a short press. A long press switches from handheld to clip-on mode. A short press of the image button takes a photo, and a long press records a video.
The device features a 7-pin Fischer connector. The PFN 640 V2 comes with a split USB/BNC video output cable. The USB port is used for downloading images and videos. The BNC video output is used to output the thermal image to a mini-DVR.
It uses standard 18650 batteries for operation. The 2x and 4x digital magnification allows for clear observation and identification of objects even at great distances. Thanks to the 25mm lens, the PFN 640 V2 can be used for both close-up and long-range observation.
The device can be connected to a smartphone, laptop, or tablet via Wi-Fi.
The overall height with the Picatinny rail is 46.5 mm.
